About

Emily Titterton works as an art teacher at a high school in Toronto, ON.

A native Vermonter, she has also lived and taught Art in Boston and Austin, Texas. Her course of study focused on English and Art and Art Education at Wesleyan University and Boston University respectively. Her work is inspired by the disjunction between her upbringing in rural Vermont and living in urban settings. She loves the freedom that printmaking allows in manipulating and repeating a static image.

She is a former collegiate ice hockey player. She is spending her retirement playing adult-league hockey, rec league vollyball, running, and lifting.
